Individual Membership Category Fee
First Year Attorney
Any individual admitted to practice law for one (1) year or less and in good standing of a bar of a state, commonwealth, or territory of the United States or the District of Columbia.
Law Student (J.D. and L.L.M.)
Any law student actively enrolled in any law school and not admitted to practice law in the United States.
Pre-Law
Any individual who is at least eighteen (18) years of age, not enrolled in law school, and not admitted to practice law in the United States and is interested in pursuing a legal education or career in the legal field, but is not currently employed or retained by a lawyer, law office, academic institution, corporate law department, governmental agency, or other entity engaged in the practice of law or providing services to those engaged in the practice of law as a Legal Professional, such as a paralegal or legal assistant.
Unemployed Attorney
Any individual admitted to practice law and in good standing of a bar of a state, commonwealth, or territory of the United States or the District of Columbia and who is currently unemployed.
Affiliate Attorney
Any individual admitted to practice law and in good standing of a bar of a state, commonwealth, or territory of the United States or the District of Columbia and who is a member in good standing of one of the HNBA Affiliate Organizations.

Foreign Attorney
Any individual admitted to practice law and in good standing in a territory or country other than the United States.
Judiciary (Judge, Magistrate or Commissioner of the Court)
Any individual admitted to practice law and in good standing of a bar of a state, commonwealth, or territory of the United States or the District of Columbia and who is currently or formerly a Judge, Magistrate, or Commissioner of the Court of record in any state, commonwealth, or territory of the United States or the District of Columbia.
Legal Professionals
Any individual who is not admitted to practice law in any territory or country and is employed or retained by a lawyer, law office, academic institution, corporate law department, governmental agency, or other entity engaged in the practice of law or providing services to those engaged in the practice of law. Examples of Legal Professionals include, but are not limited to, diversity, equity and inclusion professionals, legal assistant, paralegal, administrator, legal secretary, conflicts of interest specialist, contract analysts, court reporter, legal transcriptionist, legal recruiter, compliance officer, process server, mediator, jury consultant, title examiner, technical specialists, and patent agents.
Retired Attorney
Any individual admitted to practice law and in good standing of a bar of a state, commonwealth, or territory of the United States or the District of Columbia and who is currently retired from the practice of law.
Attorney (Government, Public Service, Non-profit, or Academia)
Any individual admitted to practice law and in good standing of a bar of a state, commonwealth, or territory of the United States or the District of Columbia and who works in government, public sector, non-profit sector, or in academia.
Attorney (Solo Practitioner or Small Law Firm with less than 10 attorneys)
Any individual admitted to practice law for more than one (1) year and in good standing of a bar of a state, commonwealth, or territory of the United States or the District of Columbia and who works as a solo practitioner or in a law firm with less than ten (10) attorneys.
Attorney (In-House or Law Firm with 10+ attorneys)
Any individual admitted to practice law for more than one (1) year and in good standing of a bar of a state, commonwealth, or territory of the United States or the District of Columbia and who works in-house or in a law firm with ten (10) or more attorneys.
Benjamin Aranda Lifetime Membership (One-Time Fee)
Any individual admitted to practice law and in good standing of a bar of a state, commonwealth, or territory of the United States or the District of Columbia and who wants to become a lifetime member of the HNBA.

Organization Membership Category Fee
Associate Organization
Any organization not eligible to be an HNBA Affiliate Organization that is focused on advocating for issues that impact the Hispanic community or any organization that supports the HNBA or the Hispanic legal community.
Law Student Organization
Any law student organization from any law school in a state, commonwealth or territory of the United States or the District of Columbia, or in any country other than the United States.
Affiliate Organization
Any organization comprised of attorneys, foreign attorneys, judges, law students, and other legal professionals whose core mission is to seek to advance the interests of the Hispanic legal community.

Corporate and Law Firm Membership Package
Corporations and law firms who want to purchase individual HNBA memberships in bulk for their employees. A minimum of 5 individual memberships must be purchased (10% discount per individual member).

Government, Public Service, and Non-Profit Membership Package
Law departments of Government agencies and public service and non-profit organizations who want to purchase individual HNBA memberships in bulk for their employees. A minimum of 5 individual memberships must be purchased (10% discount per individual member).

ABA Attorney
Any individual admitted to practice law and in good standing of a bar of a state, commonwealth, or territory of the United States or the District of Columbia and who is a member in good standing of the American Bar Association.
Benjamin Aranda Lifetime Membership (Installment Plan):
$1,000 payable in 6 payments over 6 months. Any individual admitted to practice law and in good standing of a bar of a state, commonwealth, or territory of the United States or the District of Columbia and who wants to become a lifetime member of the HNBA.
Solo Practitioner/Government/Public Service
Solo Practitioners, Lawyers in law firms with less than (10) lawyers, Government Lawyers or Lawyers in Public Service.
Solo Practitioner/Government/Public Service (2-10 years)
Solo Practitioner/Government/Public Service (11-19 years)
Solo Practitioner/Government/Public Service (20+ years)
Counsel/Law Firm
Corporate Counsel or Lawyer in law firms with more than (10) lawyers.
